About the play:
Eddie (Cronin) and his sons are creatures of the night shift - it's the days that give them trouble. Bren (Mercier) surfs the net alone. Andy (Vernon) can't confirm the whereabouts of his girlfriend and son. Kev (O'Reilly) isn't throwing his money around like the IT whizzkid they take him for. A duty visit to their mother in hospital requires them to act like model siblings; but confusion around her illness and her mysterious good news become the fuel for this unsettling comedy which charts the meltdown of a family of men caught in the claw of tiger Ireland.

Because F--k Jack Evans
As long as I'm doing the whole politics thing, I'd like to turn my eye towards local politics and ask you to please, if you happen to be registered to vote in Ward 2, vote for Cary Silverman for city council. I, tragically, live just one block outside the boundaries of Ward 2, so I can't. If you need to know why you should vote for Mr. Silverman, just read this.

This pretty much sums up my feelings on Palin...
Given the way this election is heading, McCain risks being overshadowed by his running mate.Seriously, she scares the crap out of me.
And that would be a bad thing.
I may not agree with the Republican nominee's policies, but I've never doubted for one minute that he is an honorable man.
After hearing Palin speak, I'm afraid she's going to take McCain someplace he doesn't really want to go.
